This site was set up in Spring 2007 at the urging of the Vicar. It was seen as a starting off point for a web presence for the PCC of Winscombe, Somerset and the Churches of the parish [St James the Great, Winscombe and, when the parish boundaries change, All Saints, Sandford and their ecumenical partners, the Sandford Methodist Church.

Well, the boundaries haven’t changed [as at August 2008!] and the PCC have had many other things other than web sites on their mind so this site has not really been developed at all!

The Vicar, the Reverand Mike Slade would rather have a more modern and vibrant site and as this can’t possibly be done by one person on their own, working in isolation, this site is being put into “cold storage”. Hopefully thought and resources will be put into this new vision in coming months!

This site is not currently being updated and, in time will become out of date [with my apologies for this] however it does provide some useful information about our beautiful parish Church of St James the Great, Winscombe.
