Bellringers

This is a tradition that has been a part of our worship for over 300 years and is an activity that can involve people of any age.  It provides an opportunity for meeting like-minded individuals in a friendly and social environment.

Our oldest ringer is 90 and our youngest has recently left primary school! It is an activity in which all members of a family can participate, and youngsters often overtake their elders in ability and skill.

We would be pleased to see anyone who wishes to learn and we provide expert tuition, training days and visits to other towers, as well as the opportunity to participate in social events.

Bellringing practice takes place on Thursday evenings from 7.30 pm and we meet at least once every Sunday for service ringing. Anyone who wishes to come and see us ring will be made welcome.
