 Welcome to St James’s Church
Thank you for opening this Welcome Pack. Within it you will find details of some of the many things we do as Christians in church and out in the community.
There are many sheets to look through in the Pack. This reflects the vibrancy of St James’s people in their willingness to love God by sharing in the ministry of loving their neighbour. If you have moved to the area I hope you will find something in this Pack that will encourage you to worship God at St James’s and then to serve Him through the activities that take place here. You will find a response form in the Pack. Please complete and return it to tell us something about you.
You may wish to take time to sit and be still in God’s presence in church. It is beautiful, and I pray it will speak to you of the love of so many worshippers who have fashioned it down the centuries because they loved God. What makes St James’s so special is the people who come to worship here. They are the church and are worth getting to know.
So whoever you are and whatever the reason for reading these words, I pray that you will know God’s love for you through his Son Jesus Christ in perhaps a new, special or deeper way. We especially look forward to welcoming you at one of our services.
