Cleaning the Church

The cleaning of the church is undertaken by a group of dedicated volunteers on a weekly basis – people working in pairs at a time to suit their own convenience.  At present those on the cleaning rota can expect to be called upon about once every three months.  Two or three times a year there is a major spring clean involving more people.

More helpers for the rota, including men(!) are always welcome.

The Heavy Mob

 The Church Maintenance team, otherwise known as the “Heavy Mob”, assist with low tech maintenance of the church, churchyard, churchyard room car park and occasionally the church hall. Tasks can range from replacing light bulbs to cleaning out gutters and pruning shrubs and trees in the churchyard. (Grass cutting in the churchyard is excluded.)

 The team also assist at social events, putting out and away tables and chairs and such like.

 Those with particular building maintenance skills are especially welcome.
