Prayer, Intercessions and Healing

A vital part of a Christian’s life is prayer.  Through prayer a Christian can come closer to God.  As well as individual prayer, some may find it helpful to join a Prayer Group.  Presently, there are two groups meeting in the parish:

Members of the congregation, young and old, lead the Intercessions at the main Sunday service at 10.00 am, and this greatly enriches our worship.  There are resources available in church to help those leading the prayers to prepare.

Each week, an opportunity is provided after the 10.00 am service for those who wish to receive prayers for Healing, with the laying on of hands.  If you would like to receive prayers for healing or for any other reason privately, please speak to the Vicar, Revd Mike Slade
